Brisbane Truck Show Unaffected By Floods

Thursday, 10 February 2011 01:33

This month has certainly been challenging for Queensland as we recover from the flood and cyclone devastation.

Many Queensland businesses have been affected by inundation and continue to clean up, rebuild and plan to re-open and get back to trading.

We are pleased to report that while our venue, the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) did get its feet wet in the basement level carpark and some basement level offices, all of the display areas were completely unaffected. The BCEC reports that they are fully operational again.

CVIAQ calls on all of the industry to come to the show in May and support Queensland business and your industry. Many of our exhibitors were completely inundated and suffered terrible losses.

Your attendance at the show will not only will help boost Queensland industry confidence it will have many knock on affects from the purchases you make - big or small. Ultimately it assists in keeping many Queenslanders employed and to get back on their feet.

So please join us, if you have not experienced a Brisbane Truck Show before, or if you are one of our great veterans of the show.

Visit our website www.brisbanetruckshow.com.au for all the show information and then go to the OzAccom link to book early for the best accommodation deals.

On behalf of the CVIAQ and the Brisbane Truck Show team thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you from May 5-8.
