Bursting at the Seams

It was with great pleasure that the CVIAQ recently presented Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) General Manager Bob O’Keeffe with a full size print on canvas of a Donna Gibb commission of the 2011 Brisbane Truck Show.

The Donna Gibb commission was purchased by both the CVIAQ and BCEC as an auction item at the 2011 CVIAQ Presidents Charity Dinner in aid of the Leukaemia Foundation. All agreed that Donna captured all the elements of the world class BCEC, it’s wonderful South Bank location and the sheer size and glory of the 2011 Brisbane Truck Show. Bob has appropriately titled the painting “Bursting at the Seams”.
The original painting is now hanging in the reception of the CVIAQ office at Seventeen Mile Rocks with the BCEC print currently gracing the BCEC board room. It will also be on public display at the 2013 Brisbane Truck Show coming up next May 16-19.
