CVIAQ Apprentice Challenge
Located in the John Reid pavilion (stand 206), the Apprentice Challenge to be held at 1pm on each day of the show (14-17th of May) will be an integral part of the Industry Career Centre. The Apprentice Challenge will highlight the professionalism of the industry and promote possible career paths that can be achieved when you start out in a heavy vehicle mechanical apprenticeship.
Current apprentices will challenge high profile contestants who have links to the commercial vehicle industry. Contestants will include State Managers, Dealer Principals, Sales Managers and TAFE Teachers.
Their challenge is to rectify identical faults in identical vehicles within a defined time period. The winning team is the team that first successfully identifies and repairs all faults or rectifies the most faults within the allowed time frame.
The event will have a professional MC to keep the event fun, interesting and engaging while still delivering the message about career paths and opportunities in the industry.
So don’t miss this special event that showcases the commercial vehicle industry and highlights the opportunities that exist in the industry.
