BP Australia has been a foundation sponsor of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) for 20 years, supporting this important organisation as they represent the road transport industry at a national level. BP has a long standing supply relationship with many transport customers whom we work directly with to ensure continuity of supply, provide support on logistics, offer Truckstop services to drivers and administration and payment options to businesses through BP’s fuel expense card BP Plus. We are excited to be a part of the Queensland Truck & Machinery Show and look forward to seeing you there. Brisbane’s North-South Bypass Tunnel has a new name. It’s called the CLEM7. This revolutionary piece of infrastructure will be the perfect way to honour Clem Jones, one of Brisbane’s favourite Lord Mayors. The 6.8 kilometre CLEM7 will connect Woolloongabba in the south to Bowen Hills in the north, and will be the first section of the new M7 motorway. By 2010, its benefits to this great city will be enormous. It will bypass the CBD and up to 18 sets of traffic lights, reduce travel time by up to 30%, cut fuel costs, lower stress and improve safety. So now we can all look forward to better times ahead. Our sponsors look forward to meeting you all at the show, in the meantime make sure you click on their logo on our home page, which will take you through to their official web site. |
